Bahrain’s strategies aimed at advancing sustainable development

Manama: Bahrain’s resilient growth is a direct result of determined efforts over past decades to provide an environment that is conducive to advancing the Kingdom’s sustainable development plan, Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa has said. Speaking during visits to three Ramadan majlises, Prince Salman, who is also Bahrain’s First Deputy Prime Minister, said the principles of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 — sustainability, competitiveness and fairness — continue to inform every aspect of the Kingdom’s sustainable development efforts. Such principles help to facilitate investment across the non-oil sector and guarantee high-value employment opportunities, he said. As for the steady growth of Bahrain’s non-oil sector, which now accounts for more than 80 per cent of Bahrain’s thriving economy, it serves to demonstrate the importance of facilitating public-private partnerships, Prince Salman was quoted as saying by Bahrain News Agency (BNA) late on Tuesday.?
